Kate Erbland (pictured, left) has been promoted from Executive Editor of Film to Editorial Director at New York-based TV, film, and digital news platform IndieWire. In this role Kate oversees the day-to-day operations of the site's film, TV, awards, and crafts teams, in addition to writing and editing. Kate's work places a special emphasis on female filmmakers, in-depth interviews with performers and creators, and awards season coverage.

Additionally, Ryan Lattanzio (pictured, right) has been promoted from Deputy Managing Editor to Deputy Editor, Film. In this role, Ryan covers movies and television in addition to overseeing all of IndieWire's film coverage including festivals and features, while contributing reviews and stories of his own. Ryan is also co-host, alongside Editor-at-Large Anne Thompson, of IndieWire's Weekly "Screen Talk" podcast. At IndieWire, Ryan has previously served as Deputy Managing Editor, News Editor, and Weekend Editor.
