Grazia has announced that Jess Spiring is to join the team as acting deputy editor, covering Caroline Barrett’s maternity leave. Jess has 18 years’ experience on newspapers and magazines. Staff roles include deputy editor of New Woman, assistant editor (lifestyle) at Fabulous and assistant editor (Lifestyle) at Now, where her team were shortlisted for a BSME Rising Stars Award.

As a freelancer, Jess has worked as a writer and provided senior cover for many titles including the Daily Mail, Stylist, Heat, Fabulous and Grazia, and has consulted at Bauer Media and Time Inc. on both editorial and commercial projects. Jess is due to start on 13 March.
