Swedish fashion brand Filippa K has announced the appointment of Karl-Johan Bogefors as Brand Director, effective September 2017. Together with founder and Creative Director Filippa Knutsson and CEO Kristofer Tonström, he will establish Filippa K on a global scale as the most prominent Scandinavian design brand. Karl-Johan was previously at Filippa K from 1996–2007, where from 2001 he was the PR & Marketing Director and oversaw the launch of Filippa K Man. Most recently Karl-Johan was at COS in London, and prior to that Marketing Director for Malene Birger, Creative Director for JC and as global editor-in-chief for Absolut.com. Founded in 1993, Filippa K is known for its simplicity and timeless design. Founder Filippa Knutsson returned to the brand in January 2017 as Creative Director, ahead of its launch in new markets.
