The entries have opened for the Wella TrendVision Awards 2024. The award celebrates the industry’s most talented artists who demonstrate an array of hairdressing skills, ranging from creative colouring techniques to the most dynamic cutting and styling skills, whilst showcasing the Wella colour portfolio at its finest.  

Categories include:

Colour Visionary
Showcase innovative colouring skills using a sunrise-to-sunset colour pallet. From warm tones of peach to golden hues, ensuring the use of the gradient technique.

Craft Visionary
Use colour techniques and placement to achieve a striking hair colour which enhances the precision of the haircut and maintains the quality and condition of the style. Competitors should ensure there is a significant difference in the before and after transformation.

XPOSURE Creative Colour (for students only). 
Showcase creative colouring that’s perfectly placed to create a strong cut and colour combination. Quality and condition are key, as is suitability to the model or headblock.  

Enter here by 14 June. All successful photographic entries will go straight through to the UK & Ireland Final, which takes place on 7 October at Old Billingsgate, London. All categories will compete live at the final.

The competition is open to anyone living or working in the UK or Ireland who is working in a salon or as an independent stylist. You don’t need to be a Wella Professionals account. The exception being the XPOSURE Creative Colour category, which is exclusive to hairdressing students.
