Entries have opened for the 2026 Press Awards 30 Under 30, from the organisers of The Press Awards and The Regional Press Awards. The awards aim to spotlight the next generation of journalists who are already making waves early in their careers. This award scheme is designed to celebrate young talent across the UK who have demonstrated originality, creativity, and passion within their field. 

The awards are open to journalists under the age of 30 as of 21 October 2026. Entries must be submitted in the form of written work. 

The standard entry deadline for the awards is 28 May, and the late deadline is 21 July. Winners will be announced on 1 October.
