DIARY Out & About: Kenneth Green Associates Showcase

Last night, DIARY directory attended the Kenneth Green Associates #KGASummer fragrance showcase held at the Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design in central London. Revealing a wondrous olfactive experience, the showcase hosted the great selection of newly launched fragrances, in addition to unveiling what's yet to launch. The space, reminiscent of an Instagram retreat, was centred around a pyramid of spring/summer fragrances from brands including: Annick Goutal, Elie Saab, Agent Provocateur, Etro, Narciso Rodriguez, Jimmy Choo and BVLGARI, among others.

Other launches showcased included:


Dear Rose Mentha Religiosa, which is available exclusively from Harrods from 27 March and nationwide from 25 April, priced at £155 (100ml). This is the third fragrance launching in the Song Collection and diffuses a woody incense scent with key notes of mint, incense, cedarwood and white musk.

Agent Provocateur Signature Lace, launching nationwide on 6 June is priced at £39. The floral, woody fragrance harnesses key notes of bergamot, orange blossom, wild orchid, amberwood, sexy musk and black cedarwood.

Etro Shantung, available exclusively at Liberty from 4 April and Harrods and Harvey Nichols from 1 June, priced at £118. The fragrance comprises notes of mandarin blended with undertones of blackcurrant and lychee, before revealing a heart of rose and peony and a base of cedar, cashmere and musk.

 

Fragrance highlights included the new Jimmy Choo EXOTIC Limited Edition (£44), which sees an interpretation of the classic Jimmy Choo fragrance. Launching nationwide from 4 April, the feminine scent comprises refreshing notes of blackcurrant sorbet and pink grapefruit, with a sensual heart of tiger orchid and passion flower. Patchouli and a velvety note of raspberry finish the fruity, chypre fragrance. The summer bottle embodies the season's bold colour palette with a pink partial lacquering bottle and fuchsia cap.

The new Narciso Rodriguez EDP Poudrée was quick to catch our attention and intoxicated the room by revealing a heart of soft powdery musc, enhanced by a smooth floral blend of white jasmine petals and Bulgarian rose. The fragrance trails off with woody notes of vetiver, as well as black and white cedar. The fragrance will be available exclusively at Selfridges from 14 April and then select department stores nationwide from 2 May. Narciso Rodriguez EDP Poudrée is priced at £39 (30ml), £59 (50ml) and £71 (90ml).

Oscar de la Renta Velvet Noir, available exclusively at Harrods from 17 April, priced at £90. Key notes include ginger, orange and jasmine to open, rose violet and osmanthus in the heart and amber, musk and rich oud in the base.

Boucheron Quatre Intense will be available from Harrods on 1 May and nationwide from 16 May for £82. The floral, woody, gourmand fragrance consists of sparkling top notes of bitter orange and green mandarin, along with fruity accents of redcurrant and wild strawberry. Jasmine and powdery heliotrope flower form the heart and lead to a base of woods and vanilla.

Annick Goutal Dolce Vita Limited Editions are the result of a collaboration with the artist Cecile Togni and will be available at select department stores nationwide from 4 April.

dunHill London ICON Limited Edition Luxury Spray will be available exclusively at Harrods from 2 May and at selected department stores nationwide from 30 May. The fragrance, priced at £60, comes in 30ml with two refills and comprises key notes of Italian bergamot, black pepper, lavender, smoky oud wood and Oris-leather.

Montblanc Legend Spirit, exclusively available from The Perfume Shop from 11 April and nationwide on 2 May. The fresh woody aromatic opens with notes of bergamot, pink pepper and grapefruit, intensified by heart notes of cardamom, lavender and ozonic before leading to a base of oak moss, white musks and cashmere woods. Montblanc Legend Spirit is priced at £26 (30ml), £39 (50ml) and £59 (100ml).
