News and entertainment publisher the Daily Mail has announced all digital platforms, including MailOnline, will go fall under a singular Daily Mail masthead.
The move is aimed at eliminating any reader confusion and helping the business fully harness its editorial and commercial power.
In addition, the Daily Mail is setting a target of achieving one million digital subscribers within three years, it follows last year’s successful launch of Mail+. Today, Daily Mail has more than 325,000 digital subscribers globally, including 20,000 in Australia and 50,000 in the USA. The company has invested heavily in new editorial software from data analytics to cutting-edge creative tools. The coming months will see product innovations, including a rolling programme of improvements to the Daily Mail app, a revamped website, more and better videos and a vastly improved slate of newsletters.
