Creatives selected for new UN Ethical Fashion Initiative African Designer Accelerator

The participants for the new Ethical Fashion Initiative Designer Accelerator have been chosen. The six West African creatives will take part in the programme, which has been created to showcase African youth, sustainability and diversity, and is supported by the European Union. The participants who will enter the two-year programme are:

- Laurenceairline
- Maöta Studio
- Ohiri
- Oudy K
The creatives will receive mentorship from a team of experts with extensive experience working in Africa, fashion and business development including EFI head & founder, Simone Cipriani, co-founder of United Arrows, Hirofumi Kurino and actress and humanitarian Dakore Egbuson-Akande. Topics covered through a series of masterclasses include Compliance, SDGs, Labour Rights & Supply Chain, Collection Plan Development, Market Positioning, Digital Marketing & Sales and Legal Frameworks.
