Beauty trade publication Cosmetics Business has announced the following team updates:

• Jo Allen (pictured left) has been appointed Editor. Jo will be taking over from Julia Wray who is stepping down from her role as Head of Editorial at the end of March. Jo is also Editor of Cosmetics Business Trend Report.
• Lynsey Barber (pictured right) has been appointed Science Writer with immediate effect, covering cosmetic science and supply, as well as cosmetic regulatory developments for the publication. Lynsey was most recently Senior Reporter and Editor for The Sun money section.
• Ross Murdoch, HPCi Media’s current Head of Production & Marketing, will take over leadership of the HPCi Media Editorial Team in his new role as Head of Publishing.

Both Jo and Ross will commence their new roles at the end of March, with Lynsey commencing her role immediately.
