Lina Batarags has been promoted from Singapore Bureau Chief to International Executive Editor at digital news platform Business Insider UK.

In her new role, Lina will oversee all coverage out of the London and Singapore newsrooms and report to Chief News Editor Steve Russolillo and work closely with London's Deputy Editor Jack Sommers, where they will shape how Business Insider's international teams cover global business, tech, and workplace stories for audiences across time zones.

Lina, who joined Business Insider in 2018 as a Senior Editor on the Strategy and Executive Life team, commented "We'll be breaking and covering the biggest global business stories of the day while digging into enterprise stories in Europe and Asia. I'm thrilled to be the editor who helps our international teams' work shine across beats, geographies, and time zones."
