Adwoa Aboah, contributing editor of British Vogue, has written her first column in a new series for the magazine, to be published in the January 2018 issue on sale 8 December. Edward Enninful, editor-in-chief of British Vogue, comments: “Adwoa’s work with Gurl’s Talk clearly shows that she has an authentic voice that speaks to a new generation about their hopes, fears, dreams and aspirations. Her monthly column will deal with how to navigate this modern world as a young woman of today.”In her first column of the new magazine and accompanying Vogue Video series, the model, activist and Gurls Talk founder explains why sharing our stories can have powerful results.
Adwoa writes: “When I founded Gurls Talk, the idea was to create a platform where women could reach out to each other, be open and connect. I never thought it would lead to a column in Vogue, but here I am, and I want to use this space to champion the people and ideas that mean the most to me.”
