SANE Communications has been appointed as the global communications agency for British shoemaker SOLOVAIR, with immediate effect.

SANE will act as lead strategic and creative communications agency across the UK, USA, France, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland and Australia.

Founded in 1881 in Wollaston, Northamptonshire, the Northamptonshire Productive Society (NPS) was once the UK's oldest surviving workers' co-operative. Since the 1960s, NPS has focused its production on heat-sealing and produces Solovair footwear using traditional Goodyear welted construction and soft suspension soles.

The Solovair Classic collection includes the 8 Eye Derby Boot, 3 Eye Gibson Shoe and Tassel Loafer. Other ranges made at the NPS factory include Solovair Steel Toe, Solovair Vegan and Gripfast Originals
