British Fashion Council (BFC) has announced the following team updates:

• Pavita Cooper has been appointed Chair and will work on widening industry access for people across the UK and from all backgrounds, supporting the BFC's 2030 strategy of Access, Creativity and Growth. She will commence her role on 1 October.
• Caroline Issa has stepped into the newly created role of Deputy Chair, working alongside Pavita and supporting CEO Laura Weir, her team and the rest of the Executive Board to deliver the same strategy.
