The British Beauty Council has announced a new cohort of leaders from across the beauty industry to its Advisory Board. The new members will be adding expertise in areas of virtual beauty, makeup for stage and screen and more.

Dr Alex Box – Beauty Futurist + founder of V-metics, a virtual cosmetic software – will join the board, alongside Lyn Harris, British Perfumer; Academy and BAFTA Award-winning Hair & Makeup Designer, Nadia Stacey and Founder of Pall Mall Barbers, Richard Marshall. Professor Sandeep Ranote, Medical Director and Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist will also join the Council’s Advisory Board to aid the organisation’s work in areas of self-esteem, mental health and representation.

The British Beauty Council is also launching its new Media Advisory Board which brings together professionals from the beauty publishing environment to reinforce the collective influence of beauty communications in the UK. The newly appointed board will be chaired by Meribeth Parker, current Chair of the British Beauty Council and Senior Vice-President of Platforms and Partnerships at News UK.
