Speed Communications has been appointed to lead the UK communications programme for home appliance manufacturer Beko.

The account will be led by Rebecca Broomfield, Director of Consumer, and Clare Cooper, Director of Business & Corporate. Speed Communications will deliver an integrated communications programme spanning consumer-brand PR, trade, and corporate communications.

Beko UK & Ireland generates over £1bn in annual revenue. Its portfolio includes Beko, Hotpoint, Whirlpool, Indesit, Leisure and Blomberg, which together account for around a third of all large appliances sold in the UK.

Speed Communications will manage press office operations, increase brand consideration across the full portfolio, and deliver trade and corporate communications, including thought leadership and policy commentary.
