Beauty platform BeautyMatter, in partnership with Market Defense, has unveiled the top 25 beauty & personal care products on Amazon in Q2 2026, as compiled on 30 June 2026. The quarter included Prime Day, held in June for the first time since 2021, across four days, which reshaped category rankings significantly.

Key insights:
- Medicube dominated Prime Day 2026, holding the number one spot in beauty for the second consecutive Prime Day, growing to 13.23% share of sales. It was also the single most searched beauty term on Prime Day, ranking third across the entire Amazon marketplace with an estimated 4.3 million searches - up from 1.2 million the year before.
- K-beauty saw significant growth, capturing 10.5% of all beauty searches on Prime Day, up from 6.5% in 2025. PDRN-named search terms entered the beauty search ranks for the first time in 2026.
- Branded search continued to gain ground, driving 20.2% of estimated beauty purchases, up from 17.4% a year earlier - with a brand name, rather than a generic term, topping search for the first time.
- Sunscreen returned in force with three placements versus one in Q1. Amazon’s sunscreen category generated over $870m over the past year, growing 33.4% year-on-year. The fastest-growing products are premium, tinted, texture-led formulas at an average price of $56.93 - well above the category average of $25.48.
- Bodycare expanded beyond lotion, with eos Body Wash, Naturium Multi-Oil Body Wash, and Amazon Basics Epsom Salt Soak pointing to a skinification of bodycare.
- Mysense placed two patriotic glitter sticks at #2 and #9, driven by a confluence of the FIFA World Cup, Prime Day, and the US Independence Day 250th anniversary. Between both products, an estimated 170,000 combined units were sold in a single month on just 221 reviews - demonstrating that sales velocity driven by external traffic is increasingly the key ranking currency on Amazon.
- In June 2026, the FDA added bemotrizinol to the OTC sunscreen monograph - the first new USA UV filter approved in decades - opening a path for lighter, no-white-cast textures that shoppers have been searching for without being able to buy domestically.
