Jamie Russell has been promoted from Journalism Researcher to Multiplatform Journalist at BBC Scotland.

In this role, Jamie will be producing visualised radio programmes and social clips for BBC Scotland. Primarily working on topical entertainment programme The Saturday Show, leading social-first visualisation and YouTube delivery, output and audience growth strategy.

Jamie will also adapt and deliver this content for TV on BBC One’s Reporting Scotland. Alongside this, Jamie works across Radio Scotland Breakfast on Saturdays, and produces social clips for other BBC Scotland news output.
