BBC Radio London has appointed Aarti Pal, Founder of the South Asian Beauty Collective, as its new Resident Beauty Expert.

As a respected beauty expert and industry consultant, Aarti brings over 15 years of experience in beauty, media and community advocacy. She is also a member of the British Beauty Council Advisory Board, where she helps to shape conversations around inclusivity, representation, and the future of the UK’s beauty industry.

Aarti commented, “BBC Radio London reaches such a broad and brilliantly diverse audience. In her role at BBC Radio London, Aarti will lead conversations around skin, makeup and beauty, while also spotlighting brands, founders, creators, and industry voices who are shaping a more inclusive beauty landscape, engaging meaningfully with today’s Londoners, and reflecting the diversity of the capital from inclusive product development and diverse representation, to thoughtful storytelling and cultural relevance.
