ELLE UK has announced that applications are open for the inaugural ELLE UK Generation Next Prize. In partnership with Grace de Monaco, the prize offers emerging designers an opportunity to accelerate their careers and gain support from industry experts.

Participating brands must not be over five years old and should specialise in ready-to-wear, accessories, or jewellery. The winner will receive a cash grant, alongside mentoring sessions with business expert and entrepreneur Eric Collins and designer Berni Yates. They’ll also have the opportunity to design an exclusive scarf for luxury brand Grace de Monaco.

Applications must be sent to this email by 9 January and include:

• A portfolio of work that tells the story of your brand.
• A 100-word overview of your business model, your consumer and your sales strategy.
• A 100 words on how you seek to make a positive contribution to the British fashion landscape.
• A 100-word summary of sustainability efforts within your company and supply chain ecosystem.
• A 100-word pitch on how this prize would transform your brand’s future.
