ANTA Sports has announced that it will acquire outdoor apparel, footwear, and equipment specialist Jack Wolfskin, which originated in Germany, for a base price of USD 290 million in cash.

ANTA Group's efficient supply chain and mid-platform capabilities will help Jack Wolfskin to efficiently realise its brand value and tap into the emerging Chinese outdoor consumer market through localised operations. The Group will develop more concrete plans to unlock various synergies in the supply chain, product development, retail operation and other areas following the closing of the acquisition.
