American Exchange Group has acquired the intellectual property assets of globally recognised lifestyle and footwear brand Allbirds, in partnership with brand management and licensing platform WSG Brands.

WSG will serve as operating and growth partner, while American Exchange Group will design and manufacture the footwear. The partnership will focus on strengthening Allbirds' existing business while pursuing new opportunities across product categories, retail distribution, licensing, and international markets.

The transaction was completed alongside a consortium of strategic investors, manufacturers, and operating partners. The group plans to expand Allbirds through licensing, strategic partnerships, category expansion, enhanced distribution, and international growth.
