We Are PR has been appointed to handle PR activity for luxury accessories brand Anya Shushko.

The agency will focus on promoting the Sophia 21 handbag, a limited edition created for Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Pre-orders for 10 individually numbered bags are open until 31 October.

Designer Anya Shushko studied architecture and interior design in Riga before being talent-spotted by Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. After graduating, she completed a degree in Product Design Development for Leather Accessories at the London College of Fashion. Anya worked on the Couture Collections at Alexander McQueen's studio in London, presented during Paris Fashion Week 2006. She launched her own luxury handbag brand in 2008 and exhibited her first collection at Paris Fashion Week in 2009. Anya is based in her studio in Kent.
