Charlie Carballo, previously Executive Digital Director at WWD, has been appointed West Coast Entertainment Breaking and Trending News Editor at New York-based daily newspaper USA TODAY.

In this role, Charlie will lead coverage of celebrity news, television, film, music, awards shows, and trending pop culture. He is responsible for identifying breaking stories, shaping editorial strategy, optimising audience growth and delivering timely, engaging content across digital platforms.
