SheerLuxe has announced the appointment of beauty director Alessandra Steinherr (pictured left) as Contributing Editor. Previously Beauty Director at GLAMOUR UK for 11 years, Alessandra is an authority and trusted voice in beauty, blending expert advice with honest opinion across beauty, fashion and travel. Alessandra was one of the first Beauty Directors to bridge editorial credibility with digital influence, setting the standard for modern beauty communication. Her Primark skincare line was a sellout success, and she made history as the first influencer to launch an eponymous MAC lipstick. She also runs her fast-growing Substack, Ask Alex, where she covers beauty insights, fashion and travel alongside her current role as Beauty Director at The Glossary.

In addition, Lucia Hawley (pictured right) has been appointed Shopping and Copy Associate, and will be looking after product curation and copy on the fashion team. Lucia was previously a freelance writer across digital and print platforms, including Harper’s BAZAAR Australia, ELLE and Side-Note. She is also the author of her Substack Say It Anyway, building a readership of 1000+.
