Knitwear brand Wool and the Gang has announced the sponsorship of Matty Bovan’s first solo show at London Fashion Week this February.

Founded in 2008, Wool and the Gang, is a global fashion brand powered by the maker movement and creates limited edition, hand-knitted items. 

Shortlisted for the British Emerging Womenswear Talent for The Fashion Awards, York-based, Matty Bovan, 26, graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2015 with an MA specialising in Fashion Knitwear. Matty creates raw-edged woven and knitted panels in various colours and textures that meet at off angles causing ridges, spines and fins to rise out of the surface of his clothes.
