Using DIARY directory for brand collaborations
Date posted on DIARY directory: Friday 19th October 2018
An increasing number of our brand and PR/marketing members are using the DIARY directory database to find other brands to collaborate with. Using the CONTACTS filters to find the type of brand you are interested in, be it champagne or vegan fashion, you can then sort the results by social reach and start looking for the perfect match. If you would like a more bespoke list - for example, specific number of followers, or brands for which an in-house contact is listed - get in touch with the DIARY team to see if we can help.
One type of brand collaboration is communications-based co-branding, which is the linking of two or more brands from different companies to jointly promote their brands, and is the type of brand collaboration DIARY directory members are most commonly engaged in.
There are a variety of sub-sections of co-branding:
- Ingredient co-branding
This is where an ingredient or component of a product is contained within other products. - Same company co-branding
This is where a company with more than one product promotes their own brands together simultaneously. - National to local co-branding
This is where a local small business partners with a national brand to target local audiences. - Joint venture co-branding
This is where two or more companies form a strategic alliance to present a product to their target audience. - Multiple sponsor co-branding
This is where two or more companies form a strategic alliance in technology, promotions, sales, etc.
