Fashionista reveals the 5 biggest beauty trends from Cosmoprof 2026

Fashionista has rounded up the five biggest beauty trends spotted at Cosmoprof North America 2026, the largest beauty trade show in the Americas, held annually in Las Vegas.

Now in its 23rd year, the show brought together more than 1,000 brands and exhibitors from over 100 countries, spanning skin care, nails, hair care, make-up, wellness and packaging.

  • Skin Healing – Brands moved beyond aesthetics to focus on treating diseased and sensitive skin, including conditions like psoriasis, eczema, rosacea and acne. Standouts included Latvia-based Labrains, Dr. Brid C (backed by Hyundai Bioscience) and Alice Cress, launching this autumn with a serum designed to improve touchscreen responsiveness for those with chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy.
  • Patches – Wearable patches were everywhere, from vitamin delivery to scar healing and cellulite reduction. BonWellness, founded by former Miss Australia Nicole O'Neil, offers wearable supplement patches, while South Korea's Everaid and Dallas-based Make It Skin showcased hydrocolloid patches, and PowerfulX unveiled patches for pain relief and fat reduction.
  • Nostalgia – Beauty lines built around beloved characters continued to boom, with K-beauty brands Célavi and ByUR launching Hello Kitty, Strawberry Shortcake and Peanuts collaborations, while Impressions Vanity Company expanded its Hello Kitty and Friends, Care Bears and Disney lines.
  • Curl Care – Curl-care brands from around the world showed a growing shift towards embracing natural texture, including 15-year-old indie brand As I Am, Brazilian mass-market brand Skala Brasil, Toronto's Curl Keeper and newcomer Shirley Jane.
  • Beauty Tech – Innovation was on full display, from Oren Medical's LED-powered skin care devices to Thome's at-home ultrasound technology and iRomaScents' AI-powered fragrance-matching device, winner of the 2026 Cosmetics Business Innovation Award.
