Lydia Smith (Antonik-Yates) and Amberley Davis have announced the launch of The Split Shift, an independent digital magazine for working women, on 7 July 2026.

Lydia serves as Editor-in-Chief, bringing over 15 years of journalism experience with bylines including The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Independent and Newsweek. Amberley serves as Managing Editor, with experience across health journalism, digital publishing and editorial strategy.

The publication covers careers, parenting, health, leadership, neurodiversity, workplace culture and technology, publishing journalism, analysis and commentary on the issues shaping modern work and life.
