Start date: December 2022 / January 2023
Location: Notting Hill from January 2023
Role Overview: Account manager is responsible for partnering with clients to strategically advance their public relations image and exposure.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the smooth running of daily functions of each account, providing support to the SE:COMMS team as requested and required
- Day-to-day client contact and managing client updates
- Secure media coverage, features and news items
- Secure product placement on influencers and celebrities through loaning and gifting
- Assist in the drafting of PR materials
- Prepare agendas and media updates for client calls as well as call notes after calls
- Manage and coordinate fashion samples and make sure all inventory is up to date
- Complete coverage reports accurately and effectively
- Assist on event organisation with clients, SE:COMMS team and external vendors and compile event reports
- Brainstorm creative ideas and generate publicity strategies to enhance PR campaigns, going beyond the role of the press office
- Maintain regular day-to-day contact and close relationship with key press and influencers
- Lead on gifting initiatives and reach out to relevant influencers
- Be a brand champion for clients and build strong relationships with them
- Analyze coverage across online, offline, blogs and social media
- Conduct research on both brands, products, and industry to support the development of client plans and new business proposals
- Manage Junior Account Manager with the support of the Account Director
Essential Skills and Requirements:
- Well-versed in the fashion industry and the PR world
- Black book of industry contacts
- At least 3 years of relevant proven experience
- Familiarity with press reports and press clippings
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of print, digital media, and social media platforms
- Proactive, able to lead and take initiative on projects, with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great attitude and ability to take direction
- Confidence to train and direct the work of junior team members
- Strong computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
