Hunter Collective is a 2000 sq.ft. co-working salon, studio and event space designed for freelance beauty and fashion experts. HC has brought together a community of experienced, talented members and global brands. We are evolving the environment freelancers build their business in whilst working with their clients along side creating unique events.
MARKETING ASSISTANT JOB ROLE:
The role is split into two main parts: taking the lead on all matters social media and marketing and also supporting the day to day running of HC, either as an events space or as a salon space.
Social Media & Marketing
• Strategic calendar content planning across all social media channels
• Direct conversation across above channels with potential members with a view to attracting new members to HC
• Promote HC as event and workshop space, seek out individuals and companies who may require HC as a venue for their event
• Creating twice monthly blog (promote members, inspire people and cover the on going development of HC)
• Website – updates via squarespace
• Create Monthly newsletter for HC community
• Create weekly summary for sharing with HC members
• Actively seek press coverage for HC
• Build relationships with PR and press
• Reach out to local businesses to build relationship with HC and generate client flow for HC member
Salon Support
• Support Member Manager with events for members
• Greet members and their clients
• Offer and serve refreshments to members and their clients
• Salon Maintenance
• Answer the phone
• Setup salon space at start of day
• Complete close process at end of day
EXPERIENCE AND TRAITS REQUIRED
• Excited by joining a community focussed start-up
• Interest in beauty and fashion industries
• Strong experience across social media platforms and web page design
• Natural focus on customer service and high attention to detail
• Comfortable interacting with members face to face
• High levels of initiative
• Video and photo editing
• Highly organised
Normal Work Week:
Tuesday - Friday plus a Saturday or Sunday (hours will vary)
Tuesday/Wednesday – typically admin days and content planning
Thursday/Friday/Weekend – supporting member manager in running HC for members, ongoing posting and replying to social media as required
