Common Objective is a global fashion information and sourcing network. We are seeking an exceptional and experienced writer/editor/content creator to produce and publish, as well as commission and edit, inspirational interviews and features.
The post is based in our small and friendly Central London office.
CO’s online platform uses personalisation and matching technology to connect businesses across the fashion supply chain, as well as provide them with relevant content and tools to enable them to succeed in sustainable business.
Founded by the people behind the Ethical Fashion Forum, we currently have almost 12,00 members, including representatives from brands such as Burberry, Prada and Vivienne Westwood, reach 138 countries worldwide, and have ambitious growth plans.
Applicants should be a fluid and experienced writer and editor, have first-rate research skills, and have a keen interest in what is needed to enable businesses to do better in three dimensions (financial, social and environmental).
Ideally you will also have experience and connections within the fashion industry, as well as journalistic experience.

We’re looking for someone who can get stuck in, cope with a rapidly developing work environment and who, alongside researching and writing to a brief, is keen to take ownership and help drive development of the Common Objective content going forward.
As part of the founding team you will be contributing to build a brand which has the potential to have a huge global reach and impact. Sustainability and ethical best practice in the fashion sector is an inspiring and rapidly evolving topic and the role will include liaising with influencers and thought leaders in the sector, as well as partner organisations.
Salary commensurate with experience.
