Hearst Magazines UK launches Digital Content Studio & appoints team

Hearst Magazines UK has announced several new appointments for its new Digital Content Studio, an in-house commercial unit that draws up Hearst’s wealth of audience insight data, digital know-how and strategic expertise to produce engaging content for native advertising campaigns.

Jessica Vince has been appointed digital editor. Jessica was previously digital editor at Grazia before leaving to start her own website, Dressr.co.uk, which she will continue alongside her new role. Robyn Munson and Alison Lynch have also been appointed as digital editors. Robyn joins Hearst from Time Inc, where she’s been digital editor at LOOK. In addition to running the editorial side of the site, she’s led many innovative branded campaigns. She’ll be working across all of Hearst’s brands, with a focus on Cosmopolitan and Digital Spy. Her first day will be January 23. Alison spent six years at Metro.co.uk, serving as lifestyle editor, before leaving to go freelance. Since then, she’s worked on Hearst sites including Good Housekeeping and Asda.

Amy Davidson and Isabella Silvers have joined as digital writers. Amy joins Hearst’s Digital Content Team from Digital Spy, where she was a music reporter for the past three years. Isabella joins from InStyle, where she was a digital writer. She’s also written for Time Inc’s branded content team and will be writing across all titles.

The team is headed up by Ali Gray, head of digital commercial content, previously senior editor, Hearst Magazines International.
