AJPR - Senior PR Account Executive/Manager & PR Account Junior/Assistant
AJ PR is a PR and Marketing Communications agency based in Kentish Town, London (very close to Camden) representing brands in the consumer and lifestyle sector. We represent internationally recognised footwear, clothing, accessory and lifestyle brands at a UK national level.
Due to exciting developments and expansion we are seeking to recruit 2 positions.
A Senior PR Account Executive/Manager and also a PR Account Junior/Assistant
Applicants for Senior PR Account Executive/Manager should have:-
- Experience at Account Executive level and/or Manager level within fashion PR either agency or in-house.
- Must possess excellent knowledge of key media titles and press contacts at national consumer titles, online fashion websites and with numerous fashion bloggers.
- Experience of working/planning at Press Days.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with examples of press releases that you have written and a portfolio of their positive outcomes.
- Ability to create media lists and proven experience with Excel spreadsheets, Word and PowerPoint.
- Initiative to be able to work independently, whilst being a great team player.
- Ability to work simultaneously on both short and long lead projects.
- Creative thinker and problem solver.
- Ambition to achieve a high level of results and enthusiasm to learn more.
- Ability to travel on Press Trips.
- Experience of working at Trade shows.
- Willingness to undertake foreign travel as/when necessary.
- Experience of presenting to brand executives.
- Experience of managing staff.
Applicants for Account Junior/Assistant should have:-
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fashion/Lifestyle background within an agency/in-house – this can be as an intern.
- Ability to create and update media lists and proven experience with Excel spreadsheets.
- Initiative to be able to work independently, whilst being a great team player.
- Ambition to achieve a high level of results and enthusiasm to learn more.
- A solid understanding of fashion and the process of public relations.
Salaries are negotiable for both roles dependent on experience, achievements and contacts. Positions are preferably in-house and full-time, but we welcome applications from freelance/self-employed candidates.
