Overall Role Description:
We are looking for a Marketing Executive to support the Marketing Manager in executing and developing marketing plans in line with company objectives and driving key brand pillars, in order to garner lead generation, foster client loyalty, increase brand awareness and resulting revenue.
The person who takes this exciting new role will be involved in all areas of the marketing mix, including being responsible for the production of new literature, direct marketing campaigns, advertising, the website, SEO and social media.
Key Responsibilities:- To work closely with the Marketing Manager to deliver the overall marketing strategy and to ensure convergence on all communications for maximum impact and consistency
- To contribute to the long-term marketing plans and strategies that meet company objectives, with strong focus on ROI
- Deliver marketing strategy throughout all salons and provide constant updates on progress
- Implement effective evaluation reporting structure to measure results on marketing initiatives
- Ensure consistency of marketing message
- Project manage the production of relevant marketing material to support marketing objectives
- Field all advertising and marketing related calls and proposals - research and identify proposals that meet key objectives
- Compile engaging copy for all marketing material and brief agencies/designers to deliver effective creative work for:
- Adverts/Advertorials
- Salon/office marketing collateral i.e. showcards, flyers, education/franchise brochure etc
- Salon windows/posters
- Write internal and external newsletter content
- Look after all salon imagery and window wording
- Internal Communications:
Ensure key staff members receive information regarding PR opportunities / events / shoots / seminars- Ensure all in-salon communication follows branding guidelines from education to finance
- Send out relevant staff notices with important announcements
- Website - Ongoing website update activity, briefing web project management and design team on key objectives, developing and providing key information and imagery for web content.
- To work with HOB’s preferred product partners to leverage all NPD and commercial initiatives to drive consumption in salon services and retail.
- To develop and maintain effective mailing databases for marketing purposes such as email marketing campaigns
- To monitor competitor activity and analyse pricing positions
Key Skill Requirements: - Strong knowledge of marketing techniques and practices
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a passion for writing and ability to produce accurate, creative and concise copy
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to deadline
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong IT skills
- Creative flair
- Self motivated
- Interest in hair, beauty and fashion is desirable
- Good knowledge of social networks is desirable
- Good at multi tasking and prioritising workload
- A good team player with a can do attitude
- A good level of English spelling and grammar
- Focused attitude
- Show initiative to enhance and develop existing procedures
- Have a solid grounding in Marketing, either through a Marketing degree or experience
