MediaBox was launched online in 2007
– further helping PRs to communicate with press.
This online service allows PRs who subscribe to Diary to compile and save press
lists from all the journalists listed in the live Diary Directory database. Files,
including high res images and press releases, can then be uploaded and organised
in MediaBoxes. The instant a MediaBox is linked to a press list, all the journalists
in that list have access to view and download the contents in their own online,
secure MediaBox area.
PRs can see a report of which journalists have downloaded what, and/or to request
their press list as labels. More and more press prefer to receive information in
non-paper form, and MediaBox will provide the perfect solution!
All journalists and stylists listed in Diary Directory will have free access to
their own firewall and spam-free MediaBox area where they can view thumbnails of
images before choosing to download. Journalists can choose how often they want to
be alerted about new postings in their MediaBox area – by new posting, or a daily/
weekly summary.
If you are a lifestyle journalist (working across areas such as fashion, beauty,
health, homes & interiors, travel, food & drink) and would like to have
your own MediaBox area, simply make sure you are listed in Diary Directory. All
listings are free of charge! Contact Sarah or
Katherine to see if you are already listed
in Diary Directory, or complete the register as a journalist form in the MediaBox
area.
